Meat Giant is a fast\-growing premium halal meat supplier based in Croydon, supplying restaurants, caterers, meal prep companies, wholesalers, and foodservice businesses across the UK.
We are BRC and SALSA accredited with a strong focus on quality, consistency, traceability, and long\-term customer relationships. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a driven and personable field sales professional to help grow and manage our wholesale customer base.
The Role
This is a field\-based B2B role focused on building relationships, generating new business, and managing existing customer accounts.
You will be responsible for visiting businesses in person, canvassing new accounts, maintaining communication with customers, helping manage orders, and coordinating internally with procurement and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and service.
We are looking for someone confident, proactive, and commercially minded who genuinely enjoys meeting people and building long\-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Canvassing and onboarding new B2B wholesale customers
- Visiting restaurants, takeaways, caterers, meal prep companies, and foodservice operators
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing customer communication and repeat ordering
- Following up on leads and maintaining account activity
- Working closely with procurement and internal operations teams
- Coordinating stock requirements and customer requests internally
- Assisting with pricing discussions and quotations
- Representing the Meat Giant brand professionally in the market
- Maintaining CRM notes and customer updates
- Someone with a natural flair for building relationships and communicating with people
- Confident face\-to\-face and over the phone
- Previous sales, wholesale, hospitality, or foodservice experience preferred
- Self\-motivated, organised, and target driven
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Own car preferred for travelling to client meetings and site visits
