Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Factory / Warehouse Operative / Team Leader to join our fast\-paced manufacturing and logistics environment. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team of operatives, and ensure the smooth handling of materials, stock management, and shipping processes. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all aspects of warehouse activities. Job Purpose

To support the efficient running of the production line by carrying out a range of manufacturing, assembly, and packing tasks in line with company standards, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently

  • Assemble products in line with specifications and work instructions

  • Pack finished goods to required standards

  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer requirements

  • Report any faults, defects, or issues with machinery or materials to the supervisor

  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment

  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets

  • Assist with loading and unloading goods where required

  • Complete basic production records and documentation accurately
Health \& Safety
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

  • Report any hazards, accidents, or near misses immediately

  • Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment
Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Good level of physical fitness

  • Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment

  • Experience operating machinery

  • Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
Working Hours

Full time

  • Willingness to undertake training and develop new skills

  • Positive and proactive approach to work
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
