Facility Manager

As a technical building manager, you are responsible for keeping our company buildings (head office, production site, and external office location) and all related facilities running smoothly and efficiently. You combine hands\-on experience with organizational insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the optimal functioning of the three locations through maintenance, budget management, and day\-to\-day supervision.


• Performing minor maintenance and repairs on buildings, installations, and furniture.


• Supervising and coordinating external technicians for both routine maintenance and larger maintenance, repair, or renovation projects.


• Monitoring technical systems and identifying the need for improvements or preventive maintenance.


• Supervising facility services like security, maintenance, cleaning, and waste management.


• Ensuring proper functioning of access and security systems such as fences, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras.


• Keeping the building safe, orderly, and clean, including managing personal protective equipment.


• Organizing adequate company emergency response.


• Contributing to efficient collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Required Background:

• Practical technical knowledge and experience with maintenance and repairs.


• Experienced in managing external service providers or technicians.


• Problem\-solving skills and independence.


• Good communication skills and a team\-oriented attitude.


• Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.


• Able to communicate (spoken and written) in both Dutch and English.

You'll be working with clients in the defense and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
