F\&B Manager\- The Rectory Hotel

The Role

We’re looking for an F\&B Manager who can bring energy, leadership and genuine hospitality to The Rectory Hotel, overseeing the day\-to\-day operation and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, leading from the floor and setting the standard for service. From welcoming guests and engaging with the team to keeping service running smoothly, you’ll make sure every detail feels considered and every guest feels well looked after. Working alongside the Owner, Operations Manager and Head Chef, you’ll create a seamless experience across food, drink, service and atmosphere. You’ll also inspire and develop a team who take pride in delivering hospitality with warmth and personality. This is a hands\-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being where the action is. You’ll have a strong understanding of what’s happening throughout the restaurant, anticipate guest needs and step in to support your team whenever needed.

Key responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of the day\-to\-day F\&B operation, leading from the floor to ensure every guest receives warm, personal and memorable hospitality. You’ll manage the pace and flow of service, oversee bookings and table plans, maintain high standards and ensure seamless communication between the restaurant, bar and kitchen. You’ll recruit, train and develop a confident team, setting clear expectations, recognising great performance and nurturing future leaders. With a strong interest in food and drink, you’ll build product knowledge across the team and encourage natural, knowledgeable recommendations. You’ll also take responsibility for commercial performance, including revenue, labour, rotas, average spend, stock and waste, always balancing business performance with the guest experience. Alongside this, you’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, allergens, licensing and health \& safety are maintained. Above all, you’ll lead with warmth, energy and personality, creating a team and environment where people take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality.

*Salary\- up to £45,000 plus a share of service charge*

*Hours\- Contracted 48 hours per week across a 5 day working week. Weekends required.*

Pay: Up to £45,000\.00 per year
