To support our School of Arts, Information, and Media, we seek lecturers (m/f/d) on a freelance basis at our Munich campus for the Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program, specializing in Data Engineering.

• Teach modules related to Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, SQL and NoSQL Databases, Data Pipelines and ETL Processes, Distributed Systems like Hadoop, Spark, Data Warehousing and Data Lakes


• Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and examination tasks


• Support students in practical and research\-oriented learning activities


• Support academic administration tasks, such as curriculum development, student mentoring, and accreditation processes


• Collaborate with faculty members and participate in academic meetings and quality assurance activities

• A Master's or PhD (or nearing completion) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field


• Demonstrated expertise in Natural Language Processing, with a strong publication record


• Teaching experience at university level, preferably in English


• Proficiency in Python and modern NLP libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK)


• Familiarity with cloud\-based AI platforms or MLOps for NLP workflows
