Experiential Production Internship: Fall 2026 (On-site, New York)
<p>MATTE is a 360° full-service creative studio at the convergence of hype, storytelling and design. <p><strong>DESCRIPTION:</strong></p>
<p data-start="200" data-end="491">The Experiential Production Intern will support the Production team in bringing immersive brand experiences to life—from concept through on-site execution. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full production lifecycle across a range of live events, activations, and spatial builds.</p>
<p data-start="493" data-end="649">This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact experiential work while building a strong foundation in production, logistics, and real-world execution.</p>
<p data-start="651" data-end="707"><strong data-start="651" data-end="707">Responsibilities and learning opportunities include:</strong></p>
<ul data-start="709" data-end="1700">
<li data-section-id="1mu0bxj" data-start="709" data-end="802">Support the planning and execution of experiential activations, events, and installations</li>
<li data-section-id="e59l73" data-start="803" data-end="884">Assist in developing production timelines, run-of-shows, and project trackers</li>
<li data-section-id="1bz1qug" data-start="885" data-end="1012">Coordinate with internal teams including Creative, Strategy, and Project Management to ensure alignment across deliverables</li>
<li data-section-id="1jcsf8p" data-start="1013" data-end="1112">Assist in vendor coordination, outreach, and communication (fabricators, rentals, venues, etc.)</li>
<li data-section-id="kvmqll" data-start="1113" data-end="1170">Help track production budgets, expenses, and invoices</li>
<li data-section-id="zml1eo" data-start="1171" data-end="1271">Support the preparation of production documents including call sheets, schedules, and site plans</li>
<li data-section-id="9q3iq3" data-start="1272" data-end="1336">Assist in sourcing materials, props, and production elements</li>
<li data-section-id="6lu947" data-start="1337" data-end="1419">Provide on-site support during installs, live events, and breakdowns as needed</li>
<li data-section-id="2t903u" data-start="1420" data-end="1499">Help manage logistics including shipping, inventory, and asset organization</li>
<li data-section-id="ztt4hs" data-start="1500" data-end="1577">Maintain organization of production files, documents, and shared trackers</li>
<li data-section-id="wki5jr" data-start="1578" data-end="1700">Be a student of the industry: stay current on trends in experiential production, live events, and cultural activations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Must be enrolled in a University or Master’s program.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must be available for a minimum of 2 days per week to work at our offices in New York.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must be available between September 16th and December 16th, Internships begin September 16th, 2026</strong></li>
<li data-section-id="1kv5fmr" data-start="179" data-end="311">Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Production, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field</li>
<li data-section-id="c5b4jb" data-start="312" data-end="386">Strong interest in experiential marketing, live events, and production</li>
<li data-section-id="1byvxxy" data-start="387" data-end="484">Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once</li>
<li data-section-id="3xwpf7" data-start="485" data-end="565">Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams</li>
<li data-section-id="c7keo1" data-start="566" data-end="640">Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li data-section-id="ymrtjr" data-start="641" data-end="724">Comfortable working with timelines, logistics, and problem-solving in real time</li>
<li data-section-id="1onbi6c" data-start="725" data-end="795">Ability to take direction and also anticipate needs where possible</li>
<li data-section-id="cq1jqf" data-start="796" data-end="909">Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends for live events as needed</li>
<li data-section-id="1f0clgc" data-start="910" data-end="1030">Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with Airtable or project management tools is a plus</li>
<li data-section-id="z1jhen" data-start="1031" data-end="1111">Interest in production workflows, vendor coordination, and on-site execution</li>
<li data-section-id="a855fo" data-start="1112" data-end="1181">Positive attitude and strong work ethic with a team-first mindset</li>

<p><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></p>
<p>This internship is unpaid. School credit can be provided.</p>
