Job Summary

Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized appropriately


• Provide high\-quality patient care by offering reassurance, explaining treatments, and managing patient comfort throughout appointments


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, including treatment notes and medical histories


• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold safety standards for patients and staff


• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient correspondence, and organizing clinical supplies


• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post\-treatment care instructions to promote ongoing dental health


• Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations and excellent patient experiences

Skills

• Proven experience as a qualified dental nurse with a strong background in patient care and nursing procedures


• Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members


• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment


• Proficiency with IT systems used for record keeping, appointment scheduling, and clinical documentation


• Outstanding interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients of all ages


• Knowledge of infection control standards and best practices within a dental setting


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment
