EXPERIENCED PHARMACY DISPENSER

The successful candidate should be able to:

• Be confident in dealing with the public with great commitment to customer care and providing health care advice and services


• Work at a efficient pace to cope with the demand of a busy environment


• Ensure the smooth running of the dispensary


• Maintain stock control within the dispensary


• Check stock against invoices and pricing


• Show excellent dispensing and organisation skills


• Be confident in ordering prescriptions, liaising with GP practices, completing paperwork and working IT systems


• Work both as part of a team and independently


• Have a flexible working attitude


• Be able to take on private patient services as well as being familiar with PGD services


• Have a commitment to continual professional development

• A minimum of one year Pharmacy experience and a Pharmacy Dispenser qualification


• Candidates without this experience may be considered if a commitment to work towards this qualification is shown
