The Role: As a Network Engineer at Wurzel, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our communications network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, fault\-finding, fixing fibre optic and Cat5/6 cable, including splicing and ODTR operation


• Understanding the core backhaul network of an ISP for build outs and maintenance


• Mast climbing (training provided if necessary) to install P2P dishes and other equipment


• Setting up internal WiFi networks tailored to the unique requirements of each property


• Utilising network management software to optimise performance


• Configuring hardware and cabling to ensure seamless connectivity


• Contributing to the installation of security solutions (such as CCTV \& intercoms) and audio\-visual setups (speaker systems and cinema rooms)


• Working alongside qualified electrician within the business

Requirements:

• Good understanding of networking principles and protocols.


• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.


• Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Willingness to work at heights and in diverse environments.
