Experienced Motor Trade Sales Executive
We're looking for an experienced motor trade salesperson to join our established, family\-owned and run business.
We're a small independent dealership specialising predominantly in vans and commercial vehicles. We're looking for someone who already knows the motor trade and can confidently handle a sale from initial enquiry through to handover.
The role
- Managing and following up sales enquiries
- Meeting customers, conducting viewings and arranging test drives
- Negotiating and agreeing deals
- Taking deposits and completing sales paperwork
- Appraising part exchanges
- Introducing customers to our finance options
- Keeping customers updated during vehicle preparation
- Organising and completing vehicle handovers
Previous motor trade vehicle sales experience is essential.
Experience selling cars, vans or other vehicles within a dealership environment is suitable. Specific commercial vehicle experience isn't necessary.
You need to be confident dealing with customers, comfortable negotiating and closing a sale, organised and able to work independently without needing constant supervision.
We're not interested in scripts or high\-pressure sales tactics. We want someone straightforward, personable and reliable who understands the importance of following enquiries up and seeing a deal through properly.
If you're also comfortable with social media, appearing in or creating short vehicle videos, that would be a bonus, but it isn't essential.
A full UK driving licence is essential.

Job type: Full\-time, Permanent
Salary: From £20,000 per year \+ commission and bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekend availability
