Your tasks

The Payment \& Basket Platform team is a foundational team working on our core stack to improve developer experience in the area.

The team’s focuses on Infrastructure, Backend Engineering and Frontend Engineering. For this role, you will take over ownership of our Backoffice Application Stack, which is used by our Product Teams to build their individual UIs for internal stakeholders.

The team is looking for a Software Engineer aligned with this profile and a strong frontend focus and the ability to move the Frontend Stack forward and guide other teams in the extension of our Backoffice Applications.

• Develop new features for the backoffice on given requirements and user needs


• Integrating our graphical user interfaces with the backend service landscape of Payment \& Basket


• Working closely with technical product owner and engineers on scalable frontend solutions.


• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high\-quality code.

Your profile

Typical Experience

7 years\+ as Software Engineer or equivalent frontend development experience.

Demonstrates growing independence in delivering complex frontend features within cross\-functional teams.

Specialist Knowledge and Experience

Builds and maintains production\-ready web applications using modern frontend frameworks.

Designs reusable UI components and contributes to shared libraries and design systems.

Integrates APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ensures application state consistency and performance.

Applies accessibility, testing, and performance optimization best practices with minimal supervision.

Planning, Organization \& Integration

Plans and implements features based on user stories and technical requirements.

Collaborates across frontend, backend, and design teams to align architectural and design decisions.

Supports sprint planning, estimation, and refinement sessions with accurate input.

Contributes to deployment, release, and monitoring workflows.

Specialist Career Focus

Manages own workload and prioritizes effectively in alignment with team goals.

Mentors other engineers and supports onboarding of new team members.

Contributes to continuous improvement of frontend architecture, tooling, and documentation.

Leads platform delivery end\-to\-end, from concept to production.

Drives discussions around frontend standards, best practices, and scalability.

Communicates clearly across disciplines, translating technical concepts for non\-technical stakeholders.
