Job Summary
As the Facilities Manager, you will bring proven facilities management experience, strong operational leadership, and an exceptional ability to build trusted client relationships. This is a critical role based at the client’s central London office, where you will lead from the front, oversee service delivery, and work closely with business service partners to ensure consistently high standards.

You will lead the Workplace Services team, overseeing functions including mailroom operations, lost and found, porterage, event setups, and wider facilities support. The successful candidate will be a resilient, hard\-working leader who thrives in a challenging environment and can confidently support change management strategies across both client and operational teams.

This role requires resilience, strong relationship management, and a hands\-on approach to leadership. We are looking for an experienced facilities professional who is ready for a challenge, able to navigate change positively, and committed to driving performance, accountability, and service excellence.

Duties

  • Operational Leadership – Lead the day\-to\-day delivery of workplace and facilities services, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high\-quality operations across the client account.

  • Client Relationship Management – Build strong, credible relationships with the client, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring services align with expectations and business needs.

  • Team Leadership – Lead, support, and develop a team of 9, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

  • Workplace Services Oversight – Oversee key services including mailroom operations, lost and found, porterage, event setups, and general workplace support.

  • Change Management Support – Play a key role in supporting and embedding change management strategies across client and operational teams, helping to drive adoption and maintain service continuity.

  • Service Excellence – Maintain high standards of service delivery, identifying opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and the overall workplace experience.

  • Resource Planning – Allocate people and resources effectively to meet business needs while maintaining productivity and cost awareness.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal departments and service partners to ensure a joined\-up, responsive approach to workplace operations.

  • Issue Resolution – Act as the escalation point for operational and client issues, using sound judgement and resilience to resolve challenges quickly and effectively.
Experience
  • Facilities Experience – Strong experience leading facilities or workplace operations.

  • Client Relationships – Builds trust quickly and manages stakeholders with confidence.

  • Team Leadership – Leads people well, sets standards, and drives performance.

  • Resilient – Stays calm, focused, and effective under pressure.

  • Change Ready – Comfortable leading through change and driving progress.

  • Strong Communicator – Clear, confident, and credible at every level.

  • Systems Confident – Comfortable using Microsoft and workplace systems.
Pay: Up to £52,000\.00 per year
