Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Experienced in DEMENTIA CARE to provide high\-quality support to individuals in domiciliary care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the well\-being, safety, and comfort of those under their care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive service.
Duties
- Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
- Foster effective communication with clients, their families, and the wider care team to ensure consistent and compassionate support.
- Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when necessary, maintaining vehicle safety standards.
- Promote independence and dignity whilst providing emotional support and companionship.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for clients and staff alike.
- Proven experience working within a care home or providing home care services.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Demonstrable driving experience with a valid driving licence preferred.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills for updating records and documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times. Pay: £12\.21\-£24\.22 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
