The Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing examination rooms in line with awarding body regulations.


• Checking and setting out examination materials before candidates arrive.


• Supervising students during examinations to ensure compliance with exam regulations.


• Maintaining a calm, focused, and professional environment.


• Recording attendance and managing seating plans.


• Assisting with the collection and secure handling of exam papers.


• Reporting any incidents, breaches of regulations, or student concerns to the Exams Officer.


• Supporting students to ensure examinations run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• A professional, calm, and approachable manner.


• The ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.


• Good organisational skills and punctuality.


• Experience working within a school environment (desirable but not essential).
