Events Sales Coordinator

Are you a confident Event Sales Coordinator with a passion for customer service, events and winning new business?

We’re working with a leading venue who are looking for an Event Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is a varied role combining sales, administration, client relationship management and event coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being involved from the initial enquiry through to event delivery.

You’ll be responsible for converting meeting and event enquiries into confirmed bookings, building strong client relationships and ensuring every detail is accurately managed throughout the sales and event process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing incoming venue and event enquiries, converting opportunities into confirmed business and encouraging repeat bookings


• Prepare quotations, proposals and contracts


• Conduct venue showrounds and pre-event meetings


• Follow up enquiries and support proactive sales activity


• Coordinate event details and liaise with operational teams


• Maintain accurate booking and billing information


• Act as a key client contact throughout the booking process


• Supporting event delivery, including delegate registration and other onsite requirements when needed


• Making proactive sales calls and supporting wider business development activity

Who They’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in sales, events, venues, hotels, hospitality or a similar customer-focused role


• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills


• Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail


• Confident using IT systems and telephone communication


• Good numerical and commercial awareness


• Proactive, customer-focused and motivated to achieve results


• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service
