Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Manager to oversee the planning, delivery and growth of our webinar and events programme. This role creates high\-quality learning experiences that drive engagement, brand visibility and commercial opportunity across our CPD portfolio.
With our webinars moving to free\-to\-attend and CPD certificates reserved for members, your programme is now a key engine for quality leads. You will make sure every event runs smoothly, showcases CPDme, and channels attendees toward membership. You will also play a key role in identifying new opportunities for innovation, partnerships and revenue through events and exhibitions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the end\-to\-end delivery of webinars, conferences and events, ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism
- Plan and deliver live webinars, conferences and corporate event support
- Source, onboard and manage expert speakers, ensuring they are fully prepared for their presentations
- Develop and maintain the events calendar, coordinating schedules and availability
- Manage name badging, registration and on\-the\-day logistics
- Prompt attendees to become CPDme members to unlock their certificate (free attendance, member\-only certificates)
- Pass attendee data to the Membership Lead for timely follow\-up and conversion
- Obtain learning outcomes from speakers and support the creation of engaging, high\-value content
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events across digital channels (website, Google, Eventbrite, social platforms, etc.)
- Identify relevant conferences, exhibitions and industry events for organisational participation
- Plan and coordinate logistics for in\-person events, including travel, accommodation and venue arrangements
- Oversee webinar administration, including registrations, attendance tracking, feedback collection and KPI reporting
- Provide support for webinar\-related enquiries via WhatsApp, email and telephone
- Identify and develop partnership and sponsorship revenue opportunities across the events programme
- Represent the organisation at external events to strengthen brand presence and professional networks
- Monitor performance data and continuously improve engagement, reach and impact
- Drive innovation to enhance the quality, scalability and growth of the events programme
You are an organised, proactive and creative events professional who thrives on delivering high\-quality experiences from concept to completion. You enjoy working in fast\-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Essential Skills \& Experience
- Minimum 1 year's experience in an Events Coordinator or similar role
- Experience organising webinars, virtual events, podcasts, or video\-based content
- Proven ability to manage event logistics, scheduling and diary coordination
- Experience managing registrations, ticketing, or allocation platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders across multiple sectors
- Experience maintaining online and social media channels, including responding to enquiries and interactions
- Proven track record of meeting targets or performance objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing competing priorities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Excellent IT skills with strong digital literacy and technical confidence
- Good knowledge of social media promotion and digital engagement
- Competence in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, databases and reporting tools
- Experience developing or maintaining tracking systems for performance or engagement data
- Clear understanding of GDPR, Data Protection, confidentiality, safeguarding and information governance
- Ability to manage workload effectively with minimal supervision
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet event demands
- Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Experience working in a regulated, professional or membership\-based environment
- Experience supporting conferences, exhibitions, or large\-scale face\-to\-face events
- Knowledge of digital service delivery platforms and event technologies
- Experience contributing to sales activities or revenue\-generating events
- Full UK driving licence
- Availability for occasional weekend or out\-of\-hours working when required
