Events and Hospitality Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.
- Lead and supervise the hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest services, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximise revenue during events and hospitality services while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Manage time efficiently to prioritise tasks, coordinate multiple events simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain organisational excellence by overseeing event setups, vendor relations, inventory management, and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure all event requirements are understood and met.
- Support fundraising initiatives by organizing special events that promote community engagement and donor participation.
- Proven experience in hospitality management within restaurants or hotels, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Prior experience supervising events or large\-scale functions with a focus on guest services and operational excellence.
- Strong skills in upselling techniques that enhance revenue while delivering value to guests.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with fundraising event planning is a plus, along with a passion for creating memorable experiences in the hospitality industry.
Pay: £13\.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8\.0 – 16\.0 per week
