Event Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event Supervisor to oversee the successful planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience in hospitality or related industries. The Event Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing staff, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout each event.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.


• Supervise event staff, providing guidance and support to deliver exceptional guest services.


• Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events.


• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure all event components are completed as scheduled.


• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customised solutions that meet their expectations.


• Oversee organisational tasks such as scheduling staff shifts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.


• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.


• Collaborate with vendors, venue staff, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics seamlessly.


• Assist in fundraising activities or promotional events as required, contributing to organisational growth.

• Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel management or event organisation is highly desirable.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.


• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and vendors effectively.


• Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to enhance revenue streams during events.


• Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.


• Experience in guest services and delivering exceptional customer experiences.


• Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining a positive working environment.
