Event Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Event Supervisor to support the delivery of exceptional events across Scotland. Reporting directly to the Front of House Event Manager, you will play a key role in leading event teams, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the smooth running of events from setup through to breakdown.
This is a hands\-on role suited to someone with strong hospitality experience who enjoys leading by example and thrives in a fast\-paced event environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Event Manager in the delivery of weddings, corporate events, private functions, and sporting events.
- Supervise front of house teams during event setup, service, and breakdown.
- Ensure staff are briefed, presented professionally, and working to company standards.
- Assist with coordinating event logistics and operational requirements on site.
- Act as a point of contact for staff and suppliers during events.
- Monitor guest experience and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with stock control, equipment management, and event preparation.
- Support the training and development of casual and seasonal event staff.
- Lead smaller events independently where required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, catering, or venue operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage teams in a fast\-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and customer\-focused attitude.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.

This is a part\- time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with regular opportunities for additional hours across evenings, weekends and peak event periods.
