Evening Dental Nurse Required

We are seeking a dedicated Evening Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental team. Hours

Monday to Thursday 5\.15pm till late.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times


• Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to procedures


• Support patients through gentle care, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns they may have


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards


• Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize clinic productivity and minimize patient wait times


• Ensure all clinical areas are kept clean, sterile, and well\-organized in accordance with health and safety regulations


• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care and clinic operations during evening shifts

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dental nurse or in a similar patient care role within a healthcare setting is ideal


• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, dental procedures, and infection control protocols


• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain treatments clearly and empathetically


• Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management


• Outstanding organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude


• Relevant certifications in nursing or dental assisting are highly desirable

You will need to complete a successful 2 week induction period, to be completed between 8am and 5\.30pm weekdays.
