The ESG Team within Client Risk Management is responsible for embedding environmental, social, and governance considerations into the bank’s investment products (funds, certificates) and aligning these ESG considerations with our commodities and derivatives activities.

What you'll be doing

Working in the ESG Team within Client Risk Management means being at the intersection of sustainability and banking activities. You can expect:

• Exposure to key business areas

You will gain deep insights into market products, trading activities, and client interactions, working closely with front office, data units, compliance, and risk management across the UniCredit group.

• A dynamic and evolving environment

ESG in Client Risk Management is a fast\-moving space driven by regulatory developments, innovation, and market expectations.

• Responsibility and visibility

You will take ownership of topics early on and contribute to decision\-making processes with high relevance across the bank.

What you'll need to succeed

• Study in Economics, Business Administration, Banking or related Finance/Business studies


• You bring a combination of analytical rigor, curiosity, and a strong interest in sustainability and financial markets.


• You connect sustainability topics with real market activities, especially in Sustainable Investment Products as well as Commodities and Derivatives.


• You leverage programming skills (e.g., Python) and a solid understanding of data structures to analyze ESG datasets, automate processes, and support data\-driven decision\-making.

During your working studies, you will gain valuable practical experience, benefit from flexible working arrangements, and develop your skills in an international environment – with a compensation of approximately 19€ gross per hour according to the collective banking agreement (pay group 3/3rd professional year).
