Mission

Within the ESG Investment \& Research team, we are looking for an alternant to join from September 2026 to contribute to projects combining ESG expertise, data science and IT skills.

Responsabilité

His/Her tasks will be as follows:

• Contribute to the production and enhancement of the ESG universe which regroups all the ESG models results and eligibilities of companies covered by Candriam


• Back\-up on the production and coordination within the ESG team


• Enhancements on the ESG Universe and models


• Participating in the decommission of the current ESG database and help on the implementation of the new internal ESG database/Tool


• Build a tool to compare ESG raw data from providers and ESG data retrieved by Artificial Intelligence


• Simulations and implementation of clients' ESG policy


• ESG providers: review of current ESG providers on specific topic (carbon...) and perform analysis on ESG data depending on client's and ESG analysts requests


• Enhancement of PowerBI internal tools

Profil Academic Background :

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

Technical Skills :

• Programming: Strong working knowledge of Python


• Knowledge of Power BI

\- Machine Learning \& AI: Understanding of ML fundamentals; experience with NLP techniques, in particular text classification and/or Large Language Models (LLMs). \- Experience of using AI tool for coding

• Prior exposure to Azure Synapse, Azure Foundry, or similar cloud ecosystems is a plus.

Domain Knowledge :

• Interest in financial markets and a strong motivation to work on ESG (Environmental, Social \& Governance) topics.

Soft Skills :

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills


• Attention to details combined with the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment


• Proactive mindset, autonomy and curiosity

Languages :

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
