Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English professional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine interest in fostering literacy and language development among diverse learners. All roles are paid, including internship positions.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and tailored English lessons to students of various ages and abilities

  • Provide mentoring and support to students to enhance their literacy and language skills

  • Develop and implement creative writing exercises and reading activities

  • Proofread and edit student work to improve clarity, coherence, and accuracy

  • Assist with behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment

  • Organise lesson plans, resources, and assessment materials efficiently

  • Tutor students in related subjects such as maths when required

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that promote holistic learning

  • Offer guidance on journalism projects or writing assignments as part of curriculum enrichment programmes
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience or interest in mentoring, tutoring, or teaching roles

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons effectively

  • Proficiency in creative writing, proofreading, and editing techniques

  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies suitable for diverse classroom settings

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, including those in special education programmes

  • Familiarity with journalism principles or media literacy is advantageous

  • Ability to motivate students and foster a supportive learning environment

  • Competence in managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
