We're growing across Europe, and we need a strong engineering team lead to own product engineering and keep the team sharp as Unwired Edge Cloud scales with us.

Unwired Edge Cloud is the platform that keeps passengers and systems connected across European rail and bus networks: device management, Wi\-Fi, WAN bonding, container orchestration, and secure vehicle\-to\-ground connectivity, all from a single, hardware\-agnostic cloud platform. Our customers span from the Nordics to the Mediterranean, and significant new tenders will shape the next chapter of this platform.

You'll lead a team of nine experienced engineers on a "you build it, you ship it, you run it" model, owning day\-to\-day delivery and the engineering decisions that determine how we grow.

What you'll do
------------------

• Lead the team through sprint planning, prioritization, capacity management, and reporting


• Keep feature delivery steady and predictable; guard product integrity so customization happens on top of standardized APIs, not inside the core


• Own service operations and ensure IT services run within SLAs; own incident, problem, change, availability and security management


• Connect the dots and act as engineering liaison across departments; align delivery with product, commercial, and customer objectives


• Help us evolve the stack, continuously review and advance our technology and processes

• Proven experience as a Team Lead or Technical Lead, coaching and developing engineers


• Strong technical background: you've built and operated production systems, and you can hold your own in deep technical reviews


• Solid systems architecture understanding with hands\-on depth of cloud\-native or Kubernetes infrastructure, Linux, and networking, security or edge computing


• Comfortable owning SLAs and running ITSM\-style processes without turning them into bureaucracy


• Degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands\-on background


• Excellent German and English, written and spoken

• Experience on operating on\-premise workloads for corporate clients


• Experience in DevOps/edge/telco or transport/mobility domains

• Real ownership of engineering and operations for a live platform serving major European transport operators


• Leading a strong, senior team of nine engineers who run what they ship


• Direct engagement with international customers across the Nordics to the Mediterranean
