Engineering Manager, Royalty Accounting Team

<p>Sony Music's Product Design Engineering and Global Operations (PDEGO) Team is looking for an Engineering Manager (aligning with our Royalty Accounting Teams) to build and evolve our platform within our ever-growing team in our London Office.</p>

<h2><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Cultivate a high-performance agile development team balancing executing new features while maintaining our existing system health</li>
<li>Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver royalty accounting applications</li>
<li>Hold regular 1:1s, mentor engineers, and work with contractors</li>
<li>Work with your Director to drive engineering vision</li>
<li>Work with product managers to develop solutions that align with business cases and strategy</li>
<li>Constantly improve our applications</li>
<li>Work with tech leadership to integrate new technologies into our stack when appropriate</li>
</ul>
<h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><strong>Who you are:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Have experience working in an agile environment</li>
<li>Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects</li>
<li>Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business</li>
<li>Able to influence cross-functional teams and create a consensus between engineering teams</li>
<li>Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience with React/frontend TypeScript is a plus</li>
<li>2+ years in an engineering management role</li>
<li>5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software products</li>
<li>5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc</li>
<li>Experience writing unit and integration tests</li>
<li>Experience reviewing code changes</li>
