Engineering Manager

Job Summary

OnePower Engineering \& Infrastructure Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations, oversee infrastructure projects, and drive technical excellence across the business. This role is ideal for an accomplished engineering professional with strong leadership, project management, and operational experience who can manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, deliver complex projects, and support long\-term organisational growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for infrastructure, construction, energy, and technical projects.


• Plan, manage, and oversee engineering projects from concept through design, execution, commissioning, and completion.


• Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments, and delivery strategies.


• Supervise engineers, project managers, technical specialists, contractors, and consultants.


• Ensure engineering activities comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.


• Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, KPIs, and operational efficiency.


• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, contractors, regulatory authorities, and senior leadership to achieve project objectives.


• Review engineering designs, technical documentation, specifications, and project reports.


• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, operational performance, and cost efficiency.


• Prepare executive reports, technical recommendations, project updates, and strategic business plans.

• Experience in engineering management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, infrastructure projects, construction management, or a related field is preferred.


• Previous engineering management, project leadership, or senior engineering experience is highly desirable.


• Strong understanding of engineering design, project delivery, construction methodologies, infrastructure development, risk management, and quality assurance.


• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, organisational, and problem\-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects, technical teams, budgets, stakeholders, and competing priorities.


• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, project management software, engineering design tools, ERP systems, and reporting platforms.


• Strong commercial awareness with a practical approach to engineering excellence and operational improvement.


• Chartered Engineer (CEng), Incorporated Engineer (IEng), or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.

Pay: £5,200\.00\-£8,700\.00 per month
