Proven track record and technical skills
Essential:
- Engineering’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Proactivity is a must; we are expecting a LEADER.
- Architectural skills
- Experience in Data Projects based on Public Cloud Technologies.
- Strong knowledge and development experience of Public Cloud (Azure or GCP)
- Desirable data migration to cloud projects.
- AI adoption process experience.
- AI development experience on Public Cloud.
- Passionate
- Strong analytical, people management and communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Broad net working inside the bank
- Able to work in an autonomous way and to take initiative
- Improvement spirit looking for better solutions and questioning the what for we do the things
- Loving to collaborate with different people

- DevOps and Agile culture
- Preferably with managerial experience within an agile organization, and inspiration to continuing working in this matter.

En ING estamos buscando un/a Data \& AI Engineering Manager.
Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:
Como Data \& AI Engineering Manager, proporcionarás liderazgo técnico estratégico para todos los productos y servicios dentro del ecosistema de datos, incluidas las plataformas de datos, los procesos de entrega de datos y la propuesta de fundamentos de IA. Serás responsable de los siguientes productos:
Ejecución de las Plataformas de Datos de Nueva Generación:
- Nuevo proceso de extremo a extremo para Productos de Datos basado en Google Cloud Platform.
- Procesos de Big Data en la nube.
- Gestión de Datos (gobierno y calidad) en la nube.
- Garantizar el funcionamiento de las Plataformas de Datos en un entorno de nube híbrida.
- Trabajar con el equipo de Innovación y Fundamentos de IA.
Responsabilidades del producto:
- Ser responsable de la ejecución de las iniciativas de Data Driven Banking.
- Co\-crear el “CÓMO” junto con la persona responsable de negocio y la persona responsable de Data Driven Banking.
- Alinear con la persona responsable de negocio la estrategia IT más adecuada para el desarrollo de productos nuevos o existentes.
- Garantizar la entrega de negocio y el cumplimiento de los estándares tecnológicos.
- Proporcionar soluciones para mejorar la fiabilidad, escalabilidad y rendimiento de los servicios.
- Mantenerse al día sobre las mejores tecnologías que puedan mejorar nuestros sistemas.
- Definir la composición de los equipos/squads IT.
- Definir la organización del squad/producto/programa junto con la persona responsable de negocio.
- Gestionar el desarrollo de productos de extremo a extremo, garantizando una integración y entrega fluidas:
- Diseñar sistemas pensando en la resiliencia y gestionar de forma proactiva los incidentes para minimizar el tiempo de inactividad y garantizar la continuidad. Dar soporte a Producción mediante el análisis y resolución de errores que puedan surgir. Contribuir a mejorar la disciplina técnica colaborando con el capítulo técnico transversal. Aprender de los errores.
- Resiliencia desde el diseño y gestión proactiva de incidentes.
- Contribuir a la gestión de incidentes en producción.
- Identificar la mejor forma de trabajo para alcanzar el rendimiento adecuado dentro de la tribu.
- Definir e identificar las brechas IT en cada equipo/producto/proyecto para mejorar los controles de calidad IT y ofrecer la mejor solución a nuestros/as clientes/as.
- Liderar equipos de Data Engineers.
- Mejorar nuestras prácticas de ingeniería, priorizando la calidad frente a la cantidad.
- Garantizar el desarrollo profesional de cada Data Engineer.
- Ser la mano derecha de las principales personas interesadas, alineando la transformación tecnológica con la evolución del negocio y aprovechando las necesidades de negocio para transformar e innovar.
- Ejecutar la estrategia del CIO.
- Propiedad integral de producto: la persona Engineering Manager, dentro de su dominio y en colaboración con las principales personas interesadas, impulsa la entrega de producto.
- Eficiencia: centrarse en la evolución del producto y en la eficiencia operativa para lograr un entorno tecnológico más saludable y sostenible.
- Networking: colaborar estrechamente con otras personas líderes de capítulos dentro y fuera de la tribu e identificar sinergias con otra
