Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Assessor / Trainer (trainee or qualified)
Location: Field/Site based - Learners are based across Cheshire to Yorkshire
Salary: £38,900 - £41,900 (inclusive of car allowance) - Salary depending on experience and qualifications
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria (for all candidates):
- Must hold solid, occupational competency within Engineering Maintenance.
- Ideally hold an Assessor qualification.
- Must hold own Engineering qualification, ideally at Level 4 or above.
- An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
- Assess/mentor learners working towards Apprenticeships in Engineering Maintenance (Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician; Engineering Manufacturing Technician; Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual and single disciplines),
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focused.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
