Engineering Maintenance Apprentice
The Engineering Maintenance Apprentice will work closely with the engineering team and help with machine breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance of machinery and general site maintenance. The role reports to the Engineering Team Leader.
The ideal candidate will be keen to develop a career in Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
The apprentice studying the Engineering Level 2 or Engineering Maintenance Technician Level 3 will be required to attend the City of Bristol College (Advanced Engineering Centre at Parkway) for their training, which will be on block release (2 weeks, 5 times a year).
Responsibilities and duties
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with machine breakdowns
- Assist with PPM's
- General Site Maintenance
- Undertake welding in the future
- Be involved with engineering projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- A positive thinking and self\-motivated individual
- Effective team member
- GCSE Level 4 in English, Maths and Science if studying Level 3
- 5 GCSE's Grade 3's or above including English Language and Maths, if studying Level 2
Pay: £8\.05 per hour
Expected hours: 37\.5 per week
