JOB DESCRIPTION – Engineering Administrator (Permanent)

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent, 8am to 5\.00pm Monday to Friday

Our aim is to serve local communities in the North of England with domestic, commercial, and agricultural oil and LPG. In addition, we offer various services, which complement our business. Role Objectives:

Working within the LPG Engineering Team, ensuring that the processes for tank installations, tank uplifts, tank testing and all other tank engineering work are completed.

Maintaining communication lines between the Engineering Manager, Engineering Administrators and Engineers, including Third Party Engineers, ensuring jobs are efficiently planned and executed. Providing a high level of customer service to all customers and prospective customers.

Main Responsibilities:

· Dealing with all the relevant paperwork for installations, uplifts, roll overs and tank movement procedures, updating reports, booking engineers, updating the engineering calendar.

· Planning work for the tank maintenance team, ensuring telemetry devices are set up correctly.

· Communicating with customers ensuring they are ready for the work and engineers have the required information and paperwork for the job. Making a welcome call once work complete and dealing with any customer concerns.

· Following completion of engineering work, ensure reports are updated, invoices are raised, orders are placed and top up set up. Welcome calls to be made following any work carried out and obtaining feedback where relevant.

· Updating the Asset register with all engineering and testing work. Test certificates to be scanned and attached to customers account, ensuring the asset register is up to date.

· To deal with incoming calls in a professional and pleasant manner, dealing with all customer queries to a satisfactory conclusion, maintaining a high level of customer service, ensuring we are meeting our customers' expectations.

· Dealing with general administrative duties necessary to meet the demands of the office and answering and dealing with telephone calls.

· Assisting with one off projects and administrative duties as required to maintain customer records and procedures within the LPG business. Maintaining relationships with external Field Sales Managers as well as all other departments ensuring required details are communicated.

Personal Requirements:

· Strong IT skills

· High levels of attention to details and accuracy across both manual and systems\-based work

· Ability to remain calm under pressure

· Strong teamwork

· Great enthusiasm, and attitude for the role as well as a high level of resilience

· Ability to work to deadlines

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities

The successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast\-paced environment and cope well under pressure, as the engineering department is busy and often subject to last\-minute changes. The successful candidate must be adaptable, flexible and able to work well within a team. They must have excellent communication skills and be willing to follow a task through until its completion.

Pay and Benefits

· Salary starting from £27,000

· Monthly “Energy” payments of £200 per to help with fuel

· 20 days holiday plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays
