*Role Overview*
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Catering Engineer to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of commercial catering equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for our customers.
Role \& responsibilities:
- Reactive and preventative maintenance commercial catering equipment
- Participate in on\-call rota every 6th weekend only
- Warranty checks and repairs
- Installation of new commercial catering equipment when required
- Diagnose, service, and repair commercial catering equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
- Respond to service calls promptly and professionally.
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain good communication with customers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Previous experience in the catering or engineering industry is preferred.
- Gas experience is desirable – training will be provided if required.
- Electrical/mechanical fault\-finding skills an advantage.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
