Salary: circa £70,000 depending on experience
Location: Leeds or London
WFH policy: Employees are required to attend the office 2 days/week
Flexible working: Variety of flexible work patterns subject to line manager discretion e.g. Compressed 9\-day fortnight.

Role Summary:
The Energy Analytics Manager reports to the Senior Energy Analytics Manager, managing specific analytical workstreams broadly focused on delivering high\-quality insights and operating forecasting models aligned to LCCC’s evolving scheme portfolio.
They are responsible for managing a team of analysts, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring outputs are technically robust, timely, and tailored to meet organisational needs. The individual will help embed best practices in modelling, data analysis, and stakeholder communication, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Working closely with peers in data engineering, quantitative development, policy, and operations, the Energy Analytics Manager will ensure that analytical work supports decision\-making at both operational and strategic levels.### Key Responsibilities
Analytical Delivery \& Impact* Manage the delivery of LCCC’s analytical workstreams, including scheme forecasts, deep\-dives, and external facing dashboards
- Translate complex analytical findings into accessible insights that inform senior stakeholders
- Champion a collaborative and inquisitive team culture, encouraging innovation, constructive challenge, and professional growth
- Stay current on analytical tools, modelling techniques, and energy policy developments to inform and improve delivery
- Contribute to the development of metrics and performance indicators that track analytical effectiveness
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including energy suppliers, regulators, and industry associations to gather insights and information beneficial to forecasting
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential* A good first degree or higher in a highly numerate subject or equivalent experience is essential, such as Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research and other quantitative STEM subjects.
- Considerable experience in people management or team leadership roles
- Extensive experience delivering analytical or modelling projects in an applied setting
- Strong technical skills in Python or other coding languages, with experience applying them to analytical problems and model development
- Proficiency working with large\-scale datasets or data warehouse environments
- Experience building or maintaining forecasting or cost models, ideally in the energy or public policy context
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex analysis into clear narratives for decision\-makers
- Collaborative working style, with experience working across functional boundaries
- Knowledge of the GB electricity market and energy schemes is desirable
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Familiarity with SQLfor storing and processing information in a relational databases
