The Endoscopy Unit has an exciting opportunity for two experienced nurses to join our team. We are looking for dynamic and flexible individuals to join the team. The unit undertakes both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This is a rapidly expanding service with a workforce that is patient focused. Come and join this motivated and productive team in Endoscopy if you are you considering a challenging career in a nursing specialty.

Main duties, tasks \& skills required
-----------------------------------------

Provide specialised, high quality care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Work effectively as part of the endoscopy team, following national and local policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Maintain high standards of care and ensure safe practice within the endoscopy suite at all times.

Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedures.

Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Practice.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing learning and continuing professional development.

  • Ability to demonstrate fundamental nursing knowledge and practical skills

  • Experience in endoscopy setting / day surgery / ward or theatre

  • Experience of running endoscopy treatment rooms for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
