The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced, commercially minded Senior Manager to help lead and grow our Employment Tax \& Global Mobility team in Dublin.
This is a senior client\-facing role for someone who enjoys solving practical workforce tax issues, managing client relationships, leading advisory work and developing people. You will work directly with Partners and colleagues across tax, payroll and wider advisory teams as we continue to grow this specialist practice.
The role will suit someone who wants breadth, ownership and progression: a mix of technical advisory work, client relationship management, team development, practice growth and continuous improvement. You will have the support of an established tax practice and the RSM International network, while playing an important role in shaping the next phase of growth for this specialist area in Ireland, including how we use technology, data and smarter processes to improve client delivery.
What you will do* Lead the delivery of Employment Tax \& Global Mobility advisory projects for Irish and international clients, including benefits\-in\-kind, expenses, share schemes, business travellers and international assignments.
- Advise clients on employment tax governance, payroll risk, Revenue interventions, PAYE remediation programmes and cross\-border compliance matters.
- Manage a portfolio of client work, including scoping, fee management, delegation, review, delivery timelines and clear communication of practical recommendations.
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider Tax, Consulting and Audit teams where employment tax issues arise as part of broader client engagements.
- Coordinate with RSM International colleagues on cross\-border mobility matters and support clients with multi\-country employment tax issues.
- Coach junior team members by reviewing work, sharing technical knowledge and supporting high\-quality day\-to\-day delivery.
- Support the continued growth of the Employment Tax \& Global Mobility practice through proposals, client development, thought leadership and practical improvements in how we deliver work.
- Strong experience in Employment Tax \& Global Mobility, payroll advisory or reward, gained in a specialist advisory environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge of Irish PAYE, PRSI and USC matters, with the ability to identify risk areas and explain tax in non\-technical language to clients.
- Experience managing advisory projects, reviewing work, supervising teams and taking responsibility for delivery quality.
- Commercial awareness, strong judgement and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders in a practical and balanced way.
- A proactive, growth\-focused mindset, with curiosity about technology, data and process improvement and how these can be used in a tax advisory environment.
- A passion for helping grow a team and service line, with the energy to support business development and contribute to the next stage of practice growth.
