A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 and Legal Top Tier firm in Leicester.
This is a rare chance to join a highly respected Employment team with a strong and growing focus on claimant work, alongside a proportion of respondent matters. The team is embedded within a forward-thinking, people-first firm that places real emphasis on quality of work, collaboration, and long-term development rather than billing targets.
You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team of five experienced employment lawyers, alongside dedicated support staff, all working within an outstanding team culture.

The Role
This position offers a varied and engaging caseload, with a strong emphasis on claimant work, including:
- Advising employee (claimant) clients on a wide range of employment law matters
- Handling a proportion of respondent employer work
- Managing cases from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting documentation, advising on merits, and negotiating settlements
- Supporting clients through Employment Tribunal processes
- Building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality legal advice
- Qualified Employment Solicitor
- Experience in either claimant, respondent, or mixed employment work
- Strong communication and client care skills
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- Keen to develop within a supportive and high-quality Legal 500 environment
