Employment Solicitor – Locum, 2+ Years’ PQE, Greater Manchester / Hybrid, 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract, Circa £35 Per Hour. An excellent opportunity for an immediately available Employment Solicitor to join a reputable organisation in Greater Manchester on a six month fixed-term basis, supporting an increased workload. OVERVIEW:
The successful Employment Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of employment claims and litigation on behalf of members, representing clients before Employment Tribunals, courts, internal hearings and other dispute resolution forums. You will undertake advocacy where appropriate, represent members before regulatory bodies and provide practical legal advice and support to regional colleagues. The role will also involve contributing to employment law training, assisting with the preparation of legal guidance, articles and other written materials, and working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider objectives of the organisation.

WHAT THE ORGANISATION IS LOOKING FOR:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with more than 2 years' PQE and proven experience in employment law, including managing employment casework and litigation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability alongside excellent communication, advocacy and negotiation skills. You will be confident producing clear and accurate legal documentation and explaining complex legal issues effectively to colleagues and members. Experience in related areas, such as personal injury claims, would also be advantageous.

The organisation offers a competitive rate of circa £35 per hour together with flexible hybrid working arrangements, including the option to work from home 1–2 days per week.
