Employee Relations Advisor (HR) – Home based
Starting salary of £36,000, with an increase upon successful completion of probation.

*There are also opportunities to earn additional income through overtime and out\-of\-hours cover.*

We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People team at Bidfood, supporting managers across the business with complex employee relations cases and employment law guidance. This is a home\-based role offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact by improving employee relations and developing manager capability across a diverse organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance and appeals


• Provide expert advice on UK employment law and HR best practice to managers across multiple sites


• Coach and upskill managers to build confidence in handling ER matters effectively


• Support change and organisational initiatives, ensuring risks are managed appropriately


• Maintain accurate case records and use data insights to support business decision\-making


• Work collaboratively with HR Services and Payroll to ensure smooth case outcomes

What we’re looking for

• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)


• Strong experience managing employee relations cases in a fast\-paced environment


• Sound knowledge of UK employment law


• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels


• Confident communicator, able to provide clear, balanced and pragmatic advice


• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Working pattern This role supports a service operating between 9:00am and 10:00pm. Your typical working pattern will be 12:00pm – 8:00pm, with flexibility required to support the wider team. Flexibility is offered in return.
