Employee Relations Advisor (HR) – Home based
Starting salary of £36,000, with an increase upon successful completion of probation.
*There are also opportunities to earn additional income through overtime and out\-of\-hours cover.*
We’re looking for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People team at Bidfood, supporting managers across the business with complex employee relations cases and employment law guidance. This is a home\-based role offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact by improving employee relations and developing manager capability across a diverse organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance and appeals
- Provide expert advice on UK employment law and HR best practice to managers across multiple sites
- Coach and upskill managers to build confidence in handling ER matters effectively
- Support change and organisational initiatives, ensuring risks are managed appropriately
- Maintain accurate case records and use data insights to support business decision\-making
- Work collaboratively with HR Services and Payroll to ensure smooth case outcomes
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience managing employee relations cases in a fast\-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Confident communicator, able to provide clear, balanced and pragmatic advice
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexible, home\-based working
