Halo Medical Group is recruiting professional and motivated Emergency Care Assistants (ECAs) with a minimum FREC 4 qualification to join our expanding Paramedic\-led ambulance service operating across Chester, Wirral, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As an Emergency Care Assistant within our Paramedic\-led ambulance service, you will work alongside experienced clinicians responding to a range of patient care requirements, supporting safe assessment, treatment, and transportation.

This is an excellent opportunity for ECAs seeking operational ambulance experience within a progressive and clinically focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support frontline ambulance operations across Chester and Wirral


• Deliver high standards of patient\-centred care


• Assist Paramedics and senior clinicians during emergency and non\-emergency responses


• Monitor and record patient observations accurately


• Maintain ambulance equipment and vehicle readiness


• Complete clinical documentation in line with company standards


• Work professionally within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Essential Requirements

• Minimum FREC 4 qualification


• Valid enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Professional and compassionate approach to patient care


• Ability to remain calm under pressure


• Full UK driving licence preferred

Desirable Skills \& Experience

• Previous ambulance or urgent care experience


• Event medical or patient transport experience


• Blue light driving qualification (CERAD or Equivelant)


• Additional pre\-hospital care qualifications
