We are now seeking an Embedded Software Developer for one of our clients.
About the assignment:
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing safety\-critical, real\-time transmission management systems within a modern automotive environment, supporting both ICE and BEV products.
You will contribute across the full development lifecycle—from concept and requirements through implementation, testing, and verification—delivering innovative and high\-quality technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control strategies and functions for transmission management systems
- Implement gear shifting functionality for both ICE and BEV applications
- Define requirements, perform implementation, testing, verification, and documentation
- Develop software primarily in C, with additional work in Matlab/Simulink
- Perform testing using unit tests, SIL (Software\-in\-the\-Loop), and vehicle\-level validation
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions
Must Have (Non\-negotiable)
- Experience in transmission management software development
- Strong proficiency in C programming
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Experience with Python
- Experience in embedded software development, control systems, or vehicle development
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)
- Experience with testing methodologies (unit testing, integration, SIL, vehicle testing)
- Experience working with functional safety (ISO 26262\)
- Familiarity with internal automotive development tools and processes
