Job Description:

Supplier Quality Assurance specialist manages the approval and surveillance of Leonardo Helicopters supply chain granting the adherence to the established requirements.

Main responsibilities:

• carry out surveillance audits, as Team Leader, at Leonardo Helicopters suppliers, approving and managing the required corrective actions.


• Independently manage the first approval of Leonardo Helicopters suppliers


• evaluate and accept the Quality Plans required of suppliers and related documentation


• perform other activities to control suppliers (investigations, data analysis to design surveillance plans, risk assessment etc.)


• Participate to established Management Review Boards


• Manage improvement initiatives for SQA processes


• Cooperate with internal departments (Procurement, Production plants and final helicopter assembly lines, Technical Management, CS\&S, Project Management Office, other Quality System functions, etc.) managing issues or potential issues related to Leonardo Helicopters Supply Chain.


• Participate to audit at suppliers performed by Customer/Authorities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a STEM discipline


• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills


• Attention to detail and quality\-oriented mindset


• Upper\-intermediate to advanced knowledge of the English language (B2/C1 level)
