Information about the job:

  • Position: Electronic Engineer.

  • Project: Offshore Fleet.

  • Location: Worldwide.

  • Rotation: 35/35 days on/off or 56/28 on/off.

  • Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying in USD/GBP/EUR. This will be discussed with the right candidate.

  • Contract start: TBA.

  • Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).

  • Insurance: Provided by the Company.

  • Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Requirements/ Qualifications/ Competence:* Degree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
  • Previous offshore, marine, oil \& gas, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills on electronic, electrical, automation, and communication systems.

  • Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, data networks, and industrial control systems.

  • Good command of English and ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.
Preferred Experience:* Offshore Construction Vessels (OCVs).
  • Heavy Lift Vessels.

  • Pipelay Vessels.

  • Subsea Construction Vessels.

  • Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems.

  • AMOS or other CMMS platforms.

  • Offshore telecommunications and IT infrastructure.

  • Fire \& Gas systems and vessel automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:* Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repair of onboard electronic and electrical systems.
  • Support vessel automation, PLC, instrumentation, telecommunications, and control systems.

  • Monitor and maintain power generation and distribution equipment.

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenan ce plans.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE, Permit to Work, and electrical safety procedures.

  • Manage spare parts requirements and maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.

  • Support emergency response activities and contribute to vessel operational readiness.
