Electrician

Premier Heating Solutions is an established business with over 2,000 five\-star reviews, specialising in private domestic heating and electrical system maintenance, service and installation.

As part of our continued growth, we’re now looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team. This role is unique \- you’ll not only support our core heating business with electrical expertise, but you’ll also play a key part in developing the electrical arm of the company. For the right person, this is a genuine opportunity to shape and grow a new service area from the ground up, backed by an established, trusted business.

We’re not a volume business, and we don’t expect our engineers to race from job to job. We focus on providing quality service and take a planned preventative approach with our customers to ensure we get it right first time.

You’ll benefit from a flexible working pattern (including the option of a 4\-day week and a 3\-day weekend), a fully stocked vehicle, no 24/7 emergency callouts, and work based within 25 miles of our office.

Key tasks of your role will include:

• Supporting heating engineers with electrical fault\-finding and system wiring


• Electrical testing, inspection and certification (EICRs)


• Installation and upgrades of domestic electrical systems


• Consumer unit replacements and rewires


• Small works and reactive repairs


• EV charger installation and maintenance (full training provided)


• Helping to shape and grow the new electrical division

The ideal candidate will have:

• A positive and proactive approach


• Good planning and organisational skills


• Great communication skills


• Strong problem\-solving ability


• A desire to be part of something new and grow with the business

Knowledge and experience required:

• At least three years of post\-qualification electrical service/repair experience


• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent


• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations


• Inspection \& Testing (preferred but not essential)


• EV installation experience (preferred but not essential)
