Job Title: Electrician
Location: Coxheath, Kent
Terms: Full time, permanent
Salary: £38,000 \- £45,000 per annum

The role

Clock House Farm has opportunities for an enthusiastic fully qualified 18th edition electrician to become part of our growing business maintenance team. As part of the team, you will receive ongoing training, support and development. This is a great opportunity for the right tradesman to be able to work on a wide range of commercial and domestic electrical installations across the farm.

From panels in glasshouses to water pumps and commercial buildings, there is a wide variety of work meaning that no day is ever the same.

Key responsibilities

  • Experience of 3 phase and panels

  • Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams

  • Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings

  • Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations

  • Maintain the electrical installations, Domestic and Commercial across all Farm sites. This includes electric gates and CCTV systems.

  • Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects

  • Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job

  • Identifying electrical problems and repairing them

  • Advising the company’s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards

  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipmentKnowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified, 18th edition

  • ECS Gold Card

  • C\&G 2919

  • Testing and Inspection preferable but not essential

  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with line management and SMT
