Data Facilities is an electrical contractor, providing specialist electrical inspection services.

We are seeking to hire a fully qualified electrical engineer.

Our core services are planned maintenance completing fixed installation testing (fixed wire testing), portable appliance testing (PAT), Thermo Imaging Surveys, emergency light testing, fire alarm testing and all associated remedial works.

An NICEIC Approved Contractor and a member of Constructionline.

Job Description

Location: South Wales and South West inc. Cornwall.

Salary: £41,600 plus overtime. (based on 40 hour week, including travel time)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Data Facilities Ltd requires a fully qualified Electrician with testing and inspection experience.

Electrician \- Electrical Compliance Testing \- The Role:

• Visiting client sites to carry out inspection, testing and reporting on Fixed Wiring, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems and Portable Appliances. You will also complete remedial works at client sites, that have been identified during the testing.


• Primarily based in in the South West and South Wales. Travel and nights away from home will be required.


• We need self\-motivated individuals who can perform remotely and alone. All work needs to a high professional standard and the applicant will need previous experience to cope with the diversity of this role.

• City \& Guilds 2391 and 2382\-18 Level 3 certificate (18th Edition) and have knowledge of emergency light and fire alarm testing.


• At least two years experience of inspection and testing.


• GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above.


• Full UK driving licence.
