We are looking for 1 Electrical Technician in the testing team that will report to the Project Leader or Installation Manager as an immediate manager and, in day\-to\-day work, to the Arbetsledare/Supervisor. *We want someone who works in the field but is also good with computers and used to working with documentation.*

The Förbifart Stockholm project is a large, complex infrastructure project involving traffic and roadside systems installed in tunnel and road environments. where SICE has the full contract of design, installation, testing \& putting into operation of traffic systems. The testing team works with testing, configuration, verification, troubleshooting, and documentation of technical systems and equipment inspection before they are put into operation.

The work is project\-based and requires following technical requirements, executing structured tests, identifying deviations, documenting results clearly and accurately, and most importantly, coordinating with internal \& external parties involved in the project.

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who:

• Is a team player and can collaborate effectively with colleagues and other project stakeholders \& has no problem working independently aswell


• Is good \& comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting, test results, and documentation


• Can speak English and communicate technical information clearly (Swedish is an advantage but not mandatory)


• Is comfortable working in tunnel environments, including inspections, configuration, and troubleshooting, where temperatures can be low \& has hands\-on experience with technical or electrical systems


• Is structured, practical, and focused on results

 Construction experience

 Entry\-level mechanical ability

 Mid\-level electrical (low voltage) and/or technical knowledge of control and monitoring systems.

 Take responsibility for tasks and deadlines, as well as quality of work.

Preferred Skills and Experience

 Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience, with knowledge in technical areas such as electrical, security systems / Intelligent Transportation Systems and the like.

 Electrical and fiber optic knowledge (ability to read and interpret electrical and fiber optic plans) is preferred.

 Experience in tunnel and road systems (intelligent transportation, access controls, radio, and CCTVs) and/or electronics/computers/networking is preferred.

 Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook), basic level.

 Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

 Previous experience working in the road and tunnel industry for projects with public customers (Trafikverket, FUT) preferred.

Education

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

 Electrician education (The National Electrical Safety Board authorization) preferred.

 Telecommunication education is preferred.

 A certificate for operating aerial work platforms (IPAF PAL card or equivalent) is preferred.

* Must demonstrate eligibility to work in Sweden (based in Stockholm).*

* Possession of a valid Swedish driver's license is a requirement for this job.*
