We are currently representing a leading building services provider with an outstanding reputation for delivering engineering excellence across prestigious high-end residential properties. Our client is renowned for investing in their engineers through ongoing training, career development, and genuine opportunities for internal progression.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a flagship commercial building in the heart of London Bridge. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems within a state-of-the-art environment.

The role operates on a continental shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

  • Electrical fault finding

  • Single and three-phase power systems

  • Emergency lighting maintenance

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)

  • HVAC systems

  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)

  • Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

  • Generators

  • UPS systems

  • VAV and VRF systems

  • Pumps and motors

  • Water treatment tasks, including tap testing, dosing, and cooling tower checks

  • Cooling towers and associated plant equipment

Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering

  • Previous experience in building services maintenance

  • Apprentice-trained background desirable

  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to develop and progress

Package
  • £50,000 - £53,000 per annum

  • Continental days and nights shift pattern
