Electrical Shift Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a flagship commercial building in the heart of London Bridge. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems within a state-of-the-art environment.
The role operates on a continental shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Electrical fault finding
- Single and three-phase power systems
- Emergency lighting maintenance
- Fire alarm systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- HVAC systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Generators
- UPS systems
- VAV and VRF systems
- Pumps and motors
- Water treatment tasks, including tap testing, dosing, and cooling tower checks
- Cooling towers and associated plant equipment
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in building services maintenance
- Apprentice-trained background desirable
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to develop and progress
- £50,000 - £53,000 per annum
- Continental days and nights shift pattern
- 20 days holiday entitlement
