Electrical QAQC Engineer

Sensori is seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Electrical QAQC Engineer to join our growing QAQC team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering quality excellence across major multi\-discipline projects. Working alongside experienced quality professionals, you will gain hands\-on exposure to the full QAQC process and help shape the quality culture on site from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Quality Manager and project team to achieve contract quality objectives.


• Report to quality manager/lead and collaborate with site team.


• Support implementation of the quality vision, goals, and strategies.


• Identify and support production of quality department contractual and company deliverables.


• Verify implementation of contractual requirements.


• Work with commercial and procurement teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded within applicable Purchase Orders and Contracts.


• Review, endorse, and monitor Vendor/Contractor deliverables and documentation.


• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).


• Support implementation of project procedures and processes.


• Oversee Contractor quality\-related documentation, ensuring compliance with specification requirements.


• Plan and perform quality audits and assessments of Vendors, Contractors, and their subcontractors.


• Plan and perform internal audits at key stages of work delivery.


• Raise non\-conformances (NCRs) when out\-of\-specification conditions are identified and support resolution and close\-out.


• Report non\-conformances and corrective actions with documented evidence and recommendations.


• Review project deliverables (work packs, test packs) to ensure quality requirements are incorporated.


• Produce weekly and monthly reports and manage KPI information.


• Ensure all documentation and certification is complete prior to final handover.


• Utilise Dalux and clients cx platform for managing quality issues and documentation.


• Attend Quality, Construction Whiteboard, and Weekly meetings.


• When required, chair and record minutes of quality meetings and distribute to the project audience.


• Assist in creating and offering up benchmarks via digital platform Dalux.

• Oversee electrical installation quality including HV / LV / ELV systems, cable management, bracketry/containment, and terminations.


• Review and verify electrical inspection and test plans (ITPs) specific to electrical scopes.


• Witness and document electrical testing activities including continuity, insulation resistance, and loop testing. (Dead testing and live testing)


• Review electrical vendor/subcontractor documentation including material certificates, FAT records, and test reports.


• Monitor compliance with IEC, BS 7671, and other applicable electrical standards.


• Oversee electrical loop checks, pre\-commissioning, and commissioning quality hold points.


• Support supervision of communications contractor and their electrical installation works.

• Minimum 5 years' experience on large multi\-discipline projects with significant electrical scope.


• Hands\-on experience with HV / LV / ELV systems, cable installation, and termination works.


• Demonstrable experience with electrical testing, loop checking, and pre\-commissioning activities.


• Experience reviewing and approving electrical ITPs, method statements, and test records.


• Good working knowledge of BS 7671, IEC standards, and relevant electrical codes.


• Experience with work packs and test packs in an electrical construction environment.


• A basic knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015\.

• Experience in implementing quality processes and procedures across multi\-discipline projects.


• Familiarity with Autodesk BIM360, Dalux, cX Alloy, Nexus or equivalent quality management and client platforms.


• Experience in modular build environments.
