Electrical Project Manager

DSLT Limited are proud to be an established MEP Contractor specialising in commercial \& industrial design \& build projects. Predominately, our work is in the film and TV production sector where we are fortunate enough to work with high profile clients.

We are looking for a confident, outgoing and ambitious Electrical Project Manager with an Electrical bias to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing operations related to new and ongoing projects within the company. The successful candidate should be career minded who is willing to learn. Training and guidance from Senior Project managers and Company Directors will be given.

The candidate’s roles \& responsibilities will include:

The Role requires the candidate to:

▪ Develop and implement electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

▪ Manage the preparation of project plans, risk assessments and health and safety documentation

▪ Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control and forecasting

▪ Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective project management

▪ Plan and monitor project resources, including labour, materials and equipment

▪ Lead and mentor project teams

▪ Identify and analyse any project issues and develop solutions to ensure project success

▪ Organise and lead electrical projects from concept to completion

▪ Develop project plans and ensure timely completion of jobs

▪ Manage budgets, resources and personnel to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints

▪ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

▪ Report project progress to senior management

Essential Criteria:

▪ECS 18th Edition Gold Card

▪Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle

▪Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, suppliers and colleagues

▪Strong background in Commercial/ Industrial Electrical Installation and Electrical Control Systems

▪Ability to understand electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQ’s, BoM’s etc

▪Good understanding of electrical standards

▪Ability to complete Tender submissions and complete PQQ’s to a high standard

▪High attention to detail and strong business acumen’s to understanding project costs

▪Excellent IT Skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office

▪Ability to self\-manage \& prioritise to meet deadlines

▪Positive attitude

▪Willing to develop and learn new skills with on and off the job training

Pay: £65,000\.00\-£75,000\.00 per year
