£40,000 basic salary \+Package

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all – round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new of current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health \& Safety/Building Codes of practice.
Job Responsibilities
- Emergency lighting
- Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
- Completion of PPM and reactive tasks for their respective shift team
- Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner and completion of the internal Materials Request Form (MRF1\)
- including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping
- Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording.
- Control of 3rd party contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable in conjunction with the Shift Manager
- AC, DC, single phase and three phase motors
Pay: Up to £40,000\.00 per year
