Location: Coventry
Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 DOE + 20% Shift Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of specialist production equipment and site facilities. This position offers a varied workload, real autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute directly to operational success.
The Role
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of manufacturing and site infrastructure equipment. Working closely with production teams and fellow engineers, you will help minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support future engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Support equipment upgrades, engineering projects, and new installations
- Coordinate and manage external contractors when required
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- A recognised electrical engineering qualification
- Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities
- A good mechanical understanding
- Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Salary of £48,000 - £53,000 depending on experience
